Hello
There seems to be some interesting things happening in Montreal at the moment. Printemps numérique - Montreal Digital Spring is on until mid-June with loads of digital arts stuff to see and do. Plus last night there was this…
Life Reflected at the National Arts Centre. "Digital tech and projection mapping underpin the visuals from Normal, and one of the four composers, Nicole Lizée, is known for her ‘glitch’ style of composing using old and new technology".

The Power Of A Picture. Netflix talking about images that get people to choose shows.
VR Will Break Museums. I think it's fair to say this piece got people talking.
Let's Get Real: Phase 4 - What’s the story? The latest from Culture24's digital capacity building programme. Phase 5 is recruiting and it's all about online stores, which will be interesting (to me, at least).
The New SFMOMA Announces Transformed Digital Strategy.
Hashtags Unplugged is an exhibition at New York's Caelum Gallery where "Artists pay tribute to 10 unforgettable hashtags".
Te Papa makes big investment in their museum innovation lab "The lab will provide more than the museum’s content for the startups to use. Indeed, each company will receive 20,000 NZ$ in exchange of a 6% equity, allowing the museum to purchase the innovations that they actually want to use, but also benefit from all the innovations created at Mahuki".
A few cultural organisations using different platforms:
Horniman Museums and Gardens have been using WhatsApp to answer visitors' questions.
Warwick Arts Centre are using Playbuzz to make a comedy quiz to help people choose a show.
Mia Core is "a standards-based metadata model created by the Minneapolis Institute of Art for use across digital asset management systems". Hopefully that's useful to someone.
Kingspray Graffiti Simulator VR. This looks great.
